Banyak calon SPM Physics selalu terkeliru apabila soalan Kertas 1 (Objective) meminta anda mengenal pasti Unit Asas (SI Base Units) bagi Kerja (Work) atau Tenaga (Energy). Jangan hafal Joule sahaja! Tukar kepada kg, m dan s dahulu.

• Formula Utama: Kerja (Work) W = F × s (Force × Distance).
• Pecahkan Daya (Force): F = ma → unit: kg m s^-2.

• Old definitions:
  • Second → Earth’s rotation
  • Metre → Platinum-iridium bar

• Improved definitions:
  • Second → Frequency of Cesium-133 radiation (9,192,631,770Hz)
  • Metre → Speed of light in vacuum (299,792,458m/s)

Exam tip: Don’t memorize every historical detail. Focus on the two key redefinitions:
